
Mosel and Rhine River Cruise
Strasbourg - Mainz - Cochem - Trier
DAY 1: Strasbourg
Board our ship at 6 p.m. in Strasbourg. As we begin our cruise towards Mainz, we will introduce our crew to you at a welcome cocktail. Dinner on board, followed by an evening of entertainment in the lounge. Cruise through the night.
DAY 2: Mainz - Koblenz The Romantic Rhine Valley
Full board on board. This morning, (optional) guided tour of Mainz and a visit to the Gutenberg Museum. Mainz was founded more than 2,000 years ago by the Romans. Continue on to the Gutenberg Museum. This world-famous museum of book printing houses two copies of the Gutenberg Bible, the first major book printed with movable type in the West. In the afternoon, we will glide through the legendary and romantic Rhine Valley, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. We will also pass the legendary Lorelei rock, named after a beautiful young maiden who, according to German legend, threw herself into the river in despair over a faithless lover and was transformed into a siren. Arrival in Koblenz during the evening. During the evening, visit the city with our host or hostess.
DAY 3: Koblenz - Cochem - Trier The Mosel Valley
Full board on board. We will spend the morning cruising. Relish the exceptional landscapes the Moselle Valley has to offer as the scenery rolls by. Arrival in Cochem in the early afternoon. Enjoy exploring this quaint city on your own, or join us for an (optional) guided tour of Cochem Castle. This castle, also known as Reichsburg, sits almost 329 feet above the valley with its Gothic towers pointing high in the sky. Return on board and cruise towards Trier. Tonight's entertainment will be provided by the crew. Cruise through the night.
DAY 4: Trier The Mosel Valley
Full board on board. We will spend the morning cruising on the Moselle. Our ship will arrive in Trier by late morning. In the afternoon, (optional) guided tour of the city and its Roman ruins. Gala evening. We'll remain in port overnight.
DAY 5: Trier
Buffet breakfast on board. Disembark at 9:00 a.m.

DAY 2: TRIER - COCHEM Trier and the Moselle Valley
Full board on board. In the morning, (optional)guided tour of the city and its Roman ruins. We'll spend the afternoon cruising on the Moselle. Tonight's entertainment will be provided by the crew.
Day 3: COCHEM - KOBLENZ Cochem and the Moselle Valley
Full board on board. This morning, (optional) guided tour of Cochem Castle. This castle, also known as Reichsburg, sits almost 329 feet above the valley with its Gothic towers pointing high in the sky. We will spend the afternoon cruising on the Moselle. The evening, visit the city of Koblenz with our host or hostess. We will remain in port overnight.
DAY 4: KOBLENZ - MAINZ The Romantic Rhine Valley
Full board on board. In the morning, we will glide through the legendary romantic Rhine Valley, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. This afternoon, (optional)guided tour of Mainz and a visit to the Gutenberg Museum. In the 17th and 18th centuries, top architects and sculptors enhanced the basic shape of the town with fine palaces and churches. This world-famous museum of book printing owns two copies of the Gutenberg Bible, the first major book printed with movable type in the West. Return on board in Worms. Gala evening. During the night, we will cruise to Strasbourg.
Day 5: STRASBOURG
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 10:00 a.m.
